Beaumont's second hospital location, chronologically, is located on Dequindre Road in Troy, Michigan. The hospital currently includes a 361 bed facility.
Technically, the hospital is located on the far eastern boundary of Troy, Michigan, which is located on the eastern boundary of Oakland County, Michigan. The location's medical building, however, is located on the other side of Dequindre Road, in Sterling Heights, Michigan, which is within Macomb County, Michigan. This location is currently undergoing a major renovation and expansion, including a 123,000 square foot addition to the Emergency Center, a total of 237,000 square feet in additions to the general hospital facilities, and the relocation of certain facilities to the medical building, which will be physically connected to the main hospital by a pedestrian bridge that will span Dequindre Road (and cross two counties).
